for traditional operators and broadcasters as they seek to maintain and grow their subscriber bases while exploring new revenue streams.

The aim of our consultancy assignment was to help implement strategic and technological solutions that would enable our customers to improve viewer engagement and optimize their advertising revenues. This involved the development of advanced functionalities for the precise personalization and segmentation of advertisements, offering an enriched user experience.

What we did

Our team took part in an in-depth analysis of market trends and our customers' specific needs to develop tailor-made solutions. C2M helped coordinate the design and implementation of features such as Start-Over and nPVR, which ensure that viewers don't miss their favorite shows, thereby increasing engagement. In addition, we advocated technologies for the dynamic replacement of commercials in live content, enabling advertising segmentation and personalization: - Analysis of broadcast standards (SCTE, MPEG) - Participation in the design of precise signage in the feeds to mark all segments precisely (start/end of program, start/end of commercial, etc.).

Solutions provided Thanks to our participation in the work carried out, our customers were able to address the issues of precise marking and system interoperability, major challenges in the implementation of our solutions. Technologies have also been implemented that enable targeted advertising insertion, boosting conversion rates and opening up new possibilities for content monetization: - Perfect synchronization of deferred content (Start-Over, nPVR) - Targeted broadcasting of advertising spots on IPTV

Progress made

Our interventions have led to significant progress for our customers, resulting from collaborative efforts. Viewer engagement has increased, reflecting an enriched user experience, while new advertising revenues have been made possible, thanks to targeted advertising strategies. These achievements underline our role as a strategic partner and coordinator among telecom operators and channel publishers, where our contribution has been essential in harmonizing efforts, sharing expertise, and actively participating in implementation tests. Our collaboration has led to the definition of common specifications for interoperability, demonstrating our commitment to turning challenges into opportunities.
